Did Dinosaurs Exist? What religion in the world accounts for dinosaurs in the 6,000 years old history of the world? Furthermore, is it more likely the earth’s archeology is incorrect or the narratives of religion are? But, heaven forbid we challenge inconsistent narratives. Did you know that most religious holidays and celebrations are preceded by concessions to acts, festivals, or homage to unholy shenanigans such as Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and Lent or Halloween before All Saints Day?

How many innocent children would continue to play? What about reckless gunplay killing innocent children without sustained outrage instead of our capitulation? We have even resorted to murdering our women and our women committing murders at unprecedented rates. It has become dangerous to attend any function for fear of gunplay erupting. Friday to Monday morning is the most dangerous time to be a Black person in our urban communities because of the homicide rate among us. How can we blame this on racism, slavery, or the police? This is on us.

Learning is silent, knowledge whispers, wisdom listens, ignorance yells, truth persuades, and history reveals. Knowledge discovers the truth, but education tells you what the truth is according to a particular disposition or presumption. When knowledge is suppressed, the promotion of analytical thinking is reactionary and intolerant of facts instead of proactively seeking information and solutions.

Would you let your child sit and eat twelve teaspoons of sugar or the equivalent of drinking a 12 oz bottle of a popular Soda? What about another popular 12-ounce Soda that has ten teaspoons of sugar? Sugar is a drug.

Do you believe we are the highest level of existence in the entirety of the universe, if so do we act like it or are we arrogant about it? If not what if a higher form treated us as we mistreat lower forms or other races?

The spirit sees beyond the mind while the mind sees what the eyes cannot. Time is immortal, soul is eternal, and spirit is infinite but none is observable despite their perpetual presence. Manifestation evolves according to actions precipitated by thoughts or circumstances to produce transformation. The portal is revealed by the observable manifestation of this focused metamorphosis of energy.

We are Shadows of Yesterday and Silhouette of Tomorrow. Yesterday is a shadow of memories with the past as a receipt, and tomorrow an imaginary silhouette with the future unscripted. But, the present tethers both.

We must determine if efforts to change others or outside influences are the best courses of action instead of changing ourselves. To further demonstrate the answer, we have spent over four hundred years, knees bent and back sore, trying to change others but still waiting. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is reality. Reality is subjective to the purveyor, so we must change our reality or the widespread misrepresentations of us.

There can be no denying that there are many reasons for the Black condition, but there can no longer be any excuses. We have a right to tell the truth about others, but we also have an obligation, to tell the truth to ourselves about ourselves to improve our condition. We may not want to hear it, but truthfully, we should listen to it from ourselves. Our crimes are mostly us against us. We cannot use racism to conceal our actions any more than they can use our actions to conceal racism.

We must first convince ourselves that we are something else before others are convinced that we are something other than what we have allowed ourselves to be called. Then, by definition, we cannot be n-gg-s if we want to be respected and treated equally. If we cannot or will not stop calling ourselves this word, why should others not perceive us as that, even if they don’t call us that? Maybe we should not say it for them to hear, just as we don’t want them to say it for us to hear. Don’t they also have a right not to hear it? Perhaps no one should hear it, which means no one should be saying it, most of all us.

Every examination of behavior and firmly held beliefs might yield a deliberate misconception obscured by time and ignorance for a nefarious purpose. Deductive reasoning renders the question of what other rogue translations, altered interpretations, and intentional misconceptions do we thoughtlessly concede in a zombie-like state to further obstruct resurrecting a dead mind. A dead mind lacking curiosity or enlightenment beyond the presentation of prescribed prerogatives of manipulation. Knowledge has always been forbidden for this reason.

Our climb to the summit must include demonstrations and representations of what we would like to be. We can’t claim it but not epitomize it. Idolizing the bottom while claiming to be at the top replicates that behavior unfamiliar with the atmosphere at the top. We will only be what we practice becoming. A demonstration is the second best form of learning behind participation. We must practice and participate in excellence to become excellent. Aspirations will not get us very far without the required effort. There are truths about our perspectives and behaviors that we must see or examine with brutal honesty.

Where is that same vigor regarding our children’s education, community safety, and economic empowerment? Why not bum rush economic opportunity instead of opps? Why not scour for the location of community empowerment? What about having poverty check in before it arrive as unwelcomed? These we not only sit idly by and dismiss as our obligation to address or correct, but we stay too busy bellyaching about issues of less significance or infrequent occurrence. Racism exist as a bridge to obstruction only if you need to cross that bridge. If there are no other bridges, build one to circumvent the tariffs of racism or devise another way of crossing over without it. Racism can only amount to a detour but not a dismissal or elimination. Submission is an elimination while perseverance makes it only a delay. So, racism can be viewed as a failed social experiment whose fallout has lingered beyond its failure.
